About Friday Night Live
Friday Night Live is an event that is put on by The Downtown Rutland Partnership as part of The Creative Economy Initiative.
On Fridays between 6PM to 10PM, from June 20th to August 22nd in 2008, the streets in Downtown Rutland are blocked off. Artisans, performers, craftspeople, resaraunts, and shopkeepers set up shop all around the town on the sidewalks.

What does Art Hop mean?
Art Hop nights take place during the second Friday of every month and they usually last from 5PM to 8PM.
ABOUT DEMONSTRATIONS
At Art & Antiques on Center, we usually have a talented artisan (or two) doing presentations, or, they will be doing demonstrations.
Presentations involve talks about the work that an artist has created. We also have crafts oriented artists who come in to do their demonstrations as well.
ABOUT PRESENTATIONS
Presentations involve artists and artisans who give speaches about their work. These evenings may be sometimes 'not-so-formal' to give a laid back feeling considering Vermont has such an ecclectic group of artists; noone really knows exactly what to expect during an Art Hop.
